Mitigation Prices
If the price sounds too good to be true – it probably is! Most legitimate radon mitigation
companies will rarely be more than $50 to $100 apart in their pricing. Performing
mitigation in full accordance with US EPA protocols is often challenging work for the
company providing the service. Every mitigation system installed by Protect meets the
protocols established by the US EPA. Use our Mitigation Checklist to ensure you’re
comparing apples to apples when it comes to the mitigation of your home - you’ll be glad you did!
The average price we charge to install a mitigation system ranges from $795 to $1800.
The specific details of your home will determine where you fall in this range – foundation type,
foundation fill, and aesthetic considerations are all factored into our fee. We can only
provide pricing after conducting an on-site evaluation – this is free. In fact,
section 7.1.3 of the EPA endorsed mitigation protocols clearly state, "Prior to installing
a radon mitigation system, a visual inspection of the building should be conducted to
evaluate characteristics of the building which might affect radon mitigation system performance."
