Radon Mitigation Overview
The US EPA recommends fixing all homes that test above the action threshold of
4.0 pCi/L to reduce elevated radon levels. The US EPA also recommends homeowners
consider fixing homes with radon levels between 2.0 pCi/L and 4.0 pCi/L. If your
home is found to have elevated radon levels, fixing it is easy and affordable.
Protect conducts each of its single family residential mitigations in full compliance
with the protocols set forth in the EPA endorsed American Society for Testing and
Materials International (ASTM) document Standard Practice for Installing Radon Mitigation
Systems in Existing Low-Rise Residential Buildings.
Commercial mitigation is also available for large residential complexes, commercial
buildings and schools – check out our Commercial Mitigation section to learn more.
